Ten Tabs #3

April 15, 2024
Mobile chrome browser says ':)' instead of a number of tabs.
Ok it's been a while. I search a lot of things and I spend a lot of time reading wacky shit on my phone. The majority of the time I leave the tab open to read at a later date. I'd like to free myself of these obligations so now I'm making them your problem. Let's begin.

1. SchultsSchultz live Type Tool.

An incredible type tool for the designer in your life. Pick a letter, pick a thickness, pick a boldness, italicize it, all with the pinch of a few fingers.

2. The 1974 East Germany vs West Germany soccer match.

A little history of the historic World Cup matchup between East and West Germany.

3. The art of CB radio QSL cards.

A QSL card is a postcard exchanged between radio amateurs to confirm an on-air contact.

4. A 1948 book called Cybernetics: or Contol and Communication in the Animal and the Machine.

I fully do not expect you to just begin reading this dry ass book.

5. Website Index of Touring Cars.

Absolute eye candy, an index of US/British Touring Cars starting in 1963.

6. TimeCube 4ce.

Nothing can prepare you for this old man's conspiracy theory website that must have been made in 1995.

7. Dirty Pair: Project Eden (1986) Full Movie

Nail Salon wall art come to life. Directed by Kōichi Mashimo

8. Black Artist Database

A crowd-sourced list of Black artists, producers and labels.

9. Abandoned record Plant in the Parisian suburbs

An unbelievable story of a man who came to own an abandoned vinyl record pressing factory.

10. The Flipper Zero

You should have seen one of these things by now, and a gentle reminder to buy one before they're banned.
