I want to share an amazing human with you.

This is a dear friend of mine who passed away on April 4th, 2024. A decade ago this young and ambitious person from Chicago moved half-way across the country and into my West Philadelphia home. A week later they would step out into the street and break their ankle which would require a several week neon green cast. That cast would go onto be spray painted and discolored by the ground as we ran around your first Philly summer. BML, one of my closest friends, thank you for existing in my life for as long as you did. Thank you for having a casual chat with me on a park bench before a shift, thank you for teaching me how to pour coffee properly, and thank you for helping me grow up. Today as the thermometer hits 75 I'm reminded that I can no longer casually run into you. There will forever be a void in the hearts of the people you knew. To anyone reading this, I just wanted to introduce a friend of mine who was truly one of a kind. You would've loved BML. Everyone loved BML.
